About Me

As a writer with a three decade career under my belt, I’ve been writing professionally as long as I can remember. I’ve been a lot of things along the way – lawyer, magazine editor, corporate trainer, scuba dive instructor, and event manager. But one thing has never changed – I am the “go to” when anyone needs compelling copy. Writing just comes naturally to me.

The subject matter I’ve tackled is wide and varied, from finance and law to beauty and travel. My exceptional research skills allow me to write about virtually anything with authority and expertise. My client roster is equally as diverse. I work with print and digital publications, lawyers, real estate brokers, travel professionals, hoteliers, yacht builders, and trade associations.

I have an informed global point-of-view, earned by extensive international travel and the unique places I’ve lived – from the Midwest and Pacific Northwest of the U.S. to London and a tiny British isle off the coast of France. For the past decade, my base has been the Dutch Caribbean island of Bonaire. But the Caribbean isn’t the only place that holds a piece of my heart. I’m also a passionate mountain lover. I spend as much time as possible in the lush, evergreen mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

I’m a stickler for deadlines, 100% accurate research, and a flawless finished product. I can’t live without my noise-cancelling headphones, Macbook Air, and trail running shoes. In other words, I take my work seriously, but I like to have adventures along the way, too.

When I’m not behind a computer screen, I’m hiking, kitesurfing, scuba diving, or spoiling my two rescue dogs – Bula & Sol. That is, when I’m not tending to the feline queen of the castle, Marley. It is true. Cats do rule the universe.
